Here is a summary of the campaign at NORWICH ROAD until last night. Number of houses on this road: 61 Houses surveyed: 49 Unavailable: 12 Council's Questionnaire 19 residents have sent in the completed questionnaires themselves, majority of them having either picked up the forms at the meeting at Fairfield Hall last week or at the Nationwide at Joel Street. The remaining 30 forms were provided by us and filled in during this door to door campaign. These have all been posted to the council. With the sole exception of 1, all other 48 households have 'voted' NO. Resident's Questionnaire I shall try to canvass the houses which were unavailable so far before bringing over the signed questionnaires to you by Sunday. General Observations The overall response as you see has been an overwhelming No to the council's scheme. I did not need to do much 'preaching to the converted'. Although most people were polite in expressing their views about the council's proposals, there were some definitely not quite so . Finally, I suggest it might be an idea to drop a leaflet informing people about the meeting at Uxbridge on 13th March if we need to boost our numbers that evening. Almost all people were unaware of this meeting. Whilst I verbally mentioned it to many they may or may not remember it. Please keep up the good work and take care,
