Although unaffected by CPZ's (YET - I live in Ruislip), I am 101% behind you, as I feel this is just a start. I honestly believe these tinpot dictators wish to inflict these totally unreasonable restrictions over the entire borough. So, although at present, you are fighting for your little corner of Hillingdon, I honestly think it would be in your interests to unite with all of the other anti-CPZ's in the area (ie. Hayes and Longford). Maybe united, we can all make a difference. The reason I say this, is that I have seen many web-sites all over the Greater London area, where there have been little island's of anti-CPZ's in a sea of CPZ's. Due to deferred parking these little havens end up begging the councils to put in a CPZ in their area. However, there are many areas completely oblivious to these plans to inflict this "stealth tax". My own town, Ruislip being a case in point. I tried to point out this potential probelem on http://www.ruislip.co.uk/cgi-bin/bbs.pl but they chose to ignore this possibility. Maybe some of you good people of Northwood could leave similar messages and try to snap them out of their apparent apathy. The more the merrier for March 13th. I'll be there to ask my question. I've always thought of myself as apolitical (I've probably voted for all 3 main parties over the last few years). Finally, I believe this as big an issue as the Poll Tax (although, I just payed up and stayed quiet then - but not now). That's all for now. Superb web-site by the way. Incidentally, as I haven't seen a complete questionaire, are all the questions similarly phrased ie. No real black/white options where you can say a definite NO. If so, this is very similar to the questionaire by S.E.R.A.S. for the 3rd runway consultation (for Heathrow). Very reminiscent of a scene from "Yes Minister", where Sir Humphrey Appleby explains to Jim Hacker that questionaires can be geared to make the responants say whatever the politicians want them to say. Sorry to go on so. Keep up the good work. Phil
