If you do not mind the inconvenience and costs then that is fine but remember that the costs will be more than £20, as there are vouchers, costs for extra cars and the inevitable increases that follow. There are many other disadvantages that come with the scheme and it
does not address your unique problem, anybody will still be able to park outside
your house and you will have less parking spaces due to yellow lines. I hope the council get in touch with you to come to some new arrangements that are more suitable.
You do not have to accept the first scheme that comes along. The roads pictured
on this site do not need control along with many others and that is why there is such an uproar. There are
many other roads in the town as well as Tolcarne and they do not need any schemes at all.
These roads should not have to pay, do not need control and should not have even
been considered. The pictures are not biased. They are there to
demonstrate that not all roads need control. Why should other roads be grouped
with Tolcarne?
I am sorry that the representatives have not reached you, a group were visiting Tolcarne Drive only today.
We do not want your problem ignored we just want the right solutions for the right people.
We are not all out against control where it is needed. It should be the right control in the right places and only if wanted by those people.
Please do not take this personally and I hope that after this issue is resolved we could perhaps use this site
and the new found strength of community to come up with alternative solutions and debate a scheme that can help you.
