The above petition document links have been removed just in case this infringes the Data Protections Act. The petition has since been handed to the council and contains over 950 signatures opposing the scheme.
Road by Road petition results
In addition to the above petition, representatives of roads have been collecting votes from all houses. A form headed with the road name asked the following details:
House Number. Print Name, YES box, NO box, and Signature. This  allowed a simple vote for or against the scheme.
This petition was handed to the council at Hillingdon Civic Centre on  Monday 17th Feb. 2003.  (Story covered by the Gazette) The total results of this scheme for all roads so far collated show:

NO to scheme=1412 Votes 
YES to scheme=78 Votes
